Home Health Aides provide a variety of personal care services, sometimes referred to as “hands-on” services. These services include helping you with:
- Bathing, washing hair and shaving
- Dressing and toileting
- Feeding and meal preparation
- Mobility and assisting with range-of-motion exercises
- Performing delegated tasks supervised by a registered nurse
- Documenting care and observations, notifying the registered nurse of any health changes
- Following and assisting you in your plan of care
