1986-present
Responsible for fiscal management of a proprietary home care company. Actively involved in community standards for nursing in home care. Issues in nursing delegation, patient confidentiality and nursing boundaries are of particular interest. Agency Policy has been set with the best interest of the nurse's license and patient's safety as priority. Care Plus is seen as a standard bearer on these issues in the community.
Current and Past Professional Activities:
Reimbursement Committee member for the Minnesota Home Care Association from. Chair in 1994. Involved in M/A, M/C and Private Insurance issues. Worked with Medicare Maximization implementation for appropriate billing process.
Strategic Planning Committee member 1995-96. Helped develop Mission Statement and Goals to take the Home Care Association into the twenty-first century.
Member of the Minnesota Nurses Association since 1972. Have presented ethical and professional issues in conference to members at large who may have current interest or knowledge of home care.
